Your GentleMax Pro Treatment, Step by Step

Consultation
We assess your skin type, hair color, and treatment goals to customize your GentleMax Pro protocol and select the appropriate wavelength and settings.

Skin Preparation
The treatment area is cleansed and shaved. Protective eyewear is provided and the Dynamic Cooling Device is calibrated to your comfort level.

Laser Treatment
The GentleMax Pro handpiece is guided over the treatment area, delivering precise laser pulses with cooling for comfort. Sessions typically take 15–60 minutes.

Post-Treatment Care
Mild redness or warmth may occur and resolves within hours. SPF is applied and sun exposure is avoided for 48 hours following your session.
What to Expect During Your GentleMax Pro Session
Before Your Appointment
Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your session. Avoid sun exposure, self-tanner, retinoids, and waxing for at least 2 weeks prior. Arrive with clean, product-free skin. Do not pluck or wax — the hair root must be intact for the laser to be effective.
During Your Treatment
You will feel a series of quick pulses accompanied by a cool mist from the Dynamic Cooling Device. Most clients describe the sensation as a light snap or warmth. Treatment times vary from 15 minutes for small areas to 60 minutes for larger areas such as full legs or back.
After Your Treatment
Some redness or follicular swelling is normal and typically resolves within a few hours. Avoid heat, sun exposure, and strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours. Treated hair will shed over the following 1–3 weeks as the follicles are disabled.
